This in an update from Dennis Vander Meer regarding the NADS Symposium:
"The 20th North American Diatom Symposium went very well. We had a great turn out and no real logistical problems. Your donated print was extremely well received. There was lots of bidding, and I remember that it sold for well over what your suggested value."
In a second note to me Dennis wrote: 'Frank Pickett won the bid for your print for $95'.
Thank you Frank for your generous bid, and for helping support the NADS program.
